Modern Slavery Policy
Hobby Ceramicraft is committed to conducting business in an ethical and responsible manner and has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking in any part of our business or supply chain.
Our Business
We are a UK-based wholesaler importing finished ceramic products from third-party manufacturers overseas. While we do not manufacture goods ourselves, we recognise our responsibility to take reasonable steps to help ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within our supply chains.
Our Policy Commitments
We are committed to:
- Not knowingly engaging with suppliers or business partners involved in modern slavery or human trafficking
- Expecting our suppliers to comply with all applicable labour laws and internationally recognised human rights standards
- Prohibiting the use of forced, bonded, or involuntary labour
- Opposing any form of child labour within our supply chain
- Promoting fair and safe working conditions through our supplier relationships where possible
Due Diligence
We seek to work with reputable suppliers and will take reasonable steps to assess and manage risks within our supply chain. Where concerns are identified, we will investigate and take appropriate action, which may include further review or termination of the supplier relationship.
Reporting Concerns
We encourage the reporting of any concerns relating to modern slavery within our business or supply chain. Any issues raised will be taken seriously and investigated appropriately.
Review
This policy will be reviewed periodically and updated in line with business growth, regulatory requirements, and evolving best practice.
