Do you own or work in a pottery painting studio or run a mobile pottery painting business? Are you looking to introduce clay to your business, or are you looking for ‘ready to go’ clay projects to add something extra to your studio? Then this is the workshop for you!

Join us for a relaxed and inspiring clay workshop where imagination takes centre stage. During the session we will create beautiful sphere lanterns, charming buildings for a Christmas village, and characterful figures – three versatile projects that can be adapted and decorated in endless ways.

Although some designs lend themselves perfectly to festive themes, each project is intentionally open-ended. From cosy winter villages and glowing lanterns to year-round home décor and playful characters, you’ll be guided to create pieces that suit your style, studio and choice of season.

This is an informal, hands-on, practical workshop where you will receive full tuition on how to make 3 different workshop masterpieces. Plus, handy tips on how to deliver each project as a workshop to your customers. They are great for all abilities, and these projects invite creativity without limits.

The projects I have chosen for this workshop are ones that you can run time and time again, making the most of your cutter sets.

The pieces we will be making are:

• Sphere lanterns – Using our 9cm half sphere formers, we add decorations to customise your sphere, and carve in patterns to let the twinkling lights through.
• Build your own village buildings – cottages, sheds, summer houses and shops… any design you can imagine.
• Playful characters – we’ve created a press mould to easily create perfectly proportioned figures to unleash your creativity on…. Make a whole range of Christmas or Halloween characters, superheroes, princesses, woodland animals….. the list is endless! A great workshop for kids and adults too!

I will also bring lots of other stamps, cutters and rolling pins for you to have a play with and there will be free time to just create.

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH AND A BOX TO TAKE YOUR MADE ITEMS HOME WITH YOU.

In addition, we will cover pricing for workshops, firing, painting, and time to chat, take pictures, discuss ideas and have a natter. All clay will be provided for you.

You will receive a goodie bag with the cutters and stamps that you will use for each piece, and you will get to take these away with you at the end of the workshop along with everything that you make.
