158 Litre Square Top loading electric Pottery kiln.
Why have a round kiln when a square kiln could take up less space?
This kiln chamber has been cleverly designed for use with square shelves,allowing you to load in the same way as a traditional 'front loading' kiln chamber, yet with a 'birds eye view' making loading easier, and with the cost benefit of buying a top loader over a front loading kiln.
The chamber size is 23″ wide (58cm) x 18″ deep (46cm). Super-Easy to load, the top of the kiln chamber being only 60cm from the floor, you'll not need to stand on tip toes to get to the bottom!
This top loader comes with all the standard features that set the "Cone Art" brand apart: heavy duty floor element, double wall design, patented lid lifter system, multi zone control, and over sized swing out control panel. This kiln can fire up to cone 10. Evenly loaded with three shelves to load onto, you can get 32 mugs per layer, therefore up to 96 mugs per firing - assuming the mugs are 9cm wide by 11.5cm tall.
Not all pots are round…..and all kilns shouldn’t be either.

This is a double insulated kiln with a wall profile of 2.5” premium firebrick plus 1″ of block insulation.
The floor and lid are constructed with 3″ firebrick and has an additional 1″ of block insulation. The extra insulation ensures a cooler, safer jacket, longer element life, and approximately 30 % savings in electricity costs. The kiln is clad in a stainless-steel jacket for extra protection and durability.
There are heavy-duty Kanthal A-1 elements in the walls and floor. This makes firing to cone 10 possible.
This kiln is equipped with a counterweight lid lifter and advanced Wifi-enabled Genesis touch screen 'Bartlett' controller with multiple zone control panel mounted on an angle for easy viewing.
