235 Litre Top loading electric Pottery kiln.

This beautifully wide kiln chamber keeps the kiln chamber low for easy loading, while still being able to impressively consume 235 litres of packed wares.  Supplied with 26 inch half shelves, this is a beast of a kiln, designed to support a busy studio.

The chamber width 83″ wide (71cm) with a depth of 22.5″ deep (57cm).  Easy to load, the top rim of the kiln chamber being only 85cm from the floor, you'll not need to stand on tip toes to get to the bottom!  A caverous chamber which can accommodate up to 111 average sized mugs.

This top loader comes with all the standard features that set the "Cone Art" brand apart: heavy duty floor element, double wall design, patented lid lifter system, multi zone control, and over sized swing out control panel.

Three thermocouples give zoned control over top middle and bottom sections of the kiln, ensuring the most extreme control over balanced temperatures throughout the chamber possible.

A double wall construction results in energy efficiency, and the added element in the floor provides extra assurance for even firings every time. If required this kiln easily disassembles into 3 sections for easy delivery and installation.

This is a double insulated kiln with a wall profile of 2.5” premium firebrick plus 1″ of block insulation. 

The floor and lid are constructed with 3″ firebrick and has an additional 1″ of block insulation.  The extra insulation ensures a cooler, safer jacket, longer element life, and approximately 30 % savings in electricity costs. The kiln is clad in a stainless-steel jacket for extra protection and durability.

There are heavy-duty Kanthal A-1 elements in the walls and floor. This makes firing to cone 10 possible.

This kiln is equipped with a counterweight lid lifter and advanced Wifi-enabled Genesis touch screen 'Bartlett' controller with multiple zone control panel mounted on an angle for easy viewing.
