388 Litre Top loading oval electric Pottery kiln.

This massive oval chamber will efficiently support a busy studio and be easy to load.

13.7 cubic feet or 388 litre capacity, which is enough space to accommodate 177 average sized mugs!

The Oval chamber is 106cm wide by 79cm front to back, with a 58cm depth. 

This kiln is supplied as a three phase electric, running on 44amps per phase.  Single Phase is also possible if you prefer, just ask.

As standard with Cone Art kilns, the extra insulation outside the chamber will allow even this beast of a kiln to fire up to 1300c if you need!

This top loader comes with all the standard features that set the "Cone Art" brand apart: heavy duty floor element, double wall design, patented lid lifter system, multi zone control, and over sized swing out control panel.

Two thermocouples report temperatures from different areas of the chamber, ensuring the most extreme control over balanced temperatures throughout the kiln during each firing.

A double wall construction results in energy efficiency, and the added element in the floor provides extra assurance for even firings every time.

This is a double insulated kiln with a wall profile of 2.5” premium firebrick plus 1″ of block insulation. 

The floor and lid are constructed with 3″ firebrick and has an additional 1″ of block insulation.  The extra insulation ensures a cooler, safer jacket, longer element life, and approximately 30 % savings in electricity costs. The kiln is clad in a stainless-steel jacket for extra protection and durability.

There are heavy-duty Kanthal A-1 elements in the walls and floor. This makes firing to cone 10 possible.

This kiln is equipped with a counterweight lid lifter and advanced Wifi-enabled Genesis touch screen 'Bartlett' controller with multiple zone control panel mounted on an angle for easy viewing.
