Fields and Flowers

Designed for ornamental use when applied to low fire (cone06) earthenware clay bodies. Shown on a white earthenware bisque tile. Not recommended for use on dinnerware produced from low fired earthenware as these glazes exhibit surface texture such as cracks and crevies. This glaze is certified non toxic which means the glazed surface passes lead and cadium leach tests and is suitable for use by artists of all ages.

While formulated for cone 05/06 use glazes perform well on stoneware to cone 6. This glaze will flow and move at higher tempertures, firing your ware flat or vertically will impact the look. Due to movement of the glaze, recommend limiting the amount of crystals on bottom third of piece so avoid glaze running off piece. This glaze colour fades to orange, mossy green and brown tones at cone 6, recommend testing on your clay body.
